cream cheese frosting

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup butter, room temp
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temp
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 cups powdered sugar

FROSTING

  • Mix together butter and cream cheese; cream together until well combined.
  • Add vanilla and salt.
  • At slow speed, slowly add powdered sugar.
  • Once all the sugar is added, set to medium speed and mix until fluffy.

**the frosting will get very stuck in the whisk; use the paddle attachment.
